- Welcome to Chuck’s Custom Bows
Recently I’ve started building ILF risers that will make a 64” bow with long limbs 62” with medium and 60” with short ILF limbs
My bows have set state records that have held up for years. I currently shot my ILF limbs at a high competitive level and will put them up against any limb out there.
As a hunting bow, I and many others have successfully taken down nearly every game animal in North America.
My bows are specifically for the individual and each bow is handcrafted to order. Every part, including the string, is made by me. I can use any exotic wood or actionwood as requested.
As a side note, with just enough machining background, I also produce the limb studs and bezels for all my bows.
I also make the Flemish Twist strings and continuous strings for all the bows I build.
I use a spar varnish finish on all my bows. The reasoning behind this is simple; Epoxy finishes are harder, but also when it scratches it’s permanent. With the spar varnish I use, if you scratch it, I can walk you through a simple and cheap fix.
